The Levin laboratory works at the intersection of developmental biology, computer science, and cognitive science to understand the scaling of computation and cognition across levels of organization in biology. In a range of natural, synthetic, and simulated living systems, we study memory and decision-making to develop applications in regenerative medicine, bioengineering, and artificial intelligence.
